The above comment I believe was from someone who wasn't a fan I guess of David Braun. Since he wasn't talking about me or Inventric LLC, I decided it didn't need to be mentioned here.
Shame you dumped that comment above, I just got shafted by templatemonster too...
Oh no! Sorry about that, please do share what happened. I really just dumped the comment, because it sounded like the poster was all upset with me and not templatemonster.
I'll go ahead and re-add it.
But please, let me know what happened. I've enjoyed using their templates, because I think their quality is the best for the price I pay for them. But is there a better alternative?
Well, I thought I could undelete the comment, since I didn't click the "permanently delete" button. Oh well, I'm in the process to moving to a WordPress blog. I think I'll be better at keeping that a little more up to date.
Ok, well I actually think their templates are fabulous too, but their support is Terrible.
They do not understand English well enough to have communication, and the way they treat their customers on the phone might be ok in mexico but its definatly NOT what I need as a client used to doing business in CA.
I mean, pose a simple question and they answer it with yes AND no for gods sake! And really they do not know the answer. I'm just so frustrated with them right now, a simple issue took them over a week to get back with me to tell me they could not provide me with a working copy of the 3d max file in the zip, and the one in the zip was crashing the computer. So basically I purchased this template, did a bunch of design work on it and because I need to change the background color which in one animation section is coming from a jpg sequence in the fla, IE: I need to change the background of the jpgs, the only way to do this is via the original 3d studio max file, and its not working, template monster do not have a copy, and say they are not in touch with the designer. So now I look a complete fool with the person I developed the site for.
But the worst is trying to talk with them about this, as they do not understand simple english, and the conversation takes a very long time to get anything resembling comprehension happening.
and on and on.. enough for now.
So I would say, sure great, if you don't need to talk to support, or if you are not using templates with 3D in them, then forget it, you'll be banging your head against a wall very fast, and having circular conversations with tech support that belong more in Alice in Wonderland than in a business conversation.
ok.
thanks for reading, hope thats comprehendable...
This article with David Braun, do you have contact info for him? I'd very much like to send him an email and see if he can sort out this mess. I mean his company has a big problem on its hands.
thanks.
How are you doing with your affiliate program with them?
